LaunchIQ€20/hour · ~4 hrs/day · ~20 days/month (≈ €1,600/month) · Lisbon or Porto, on-site · Direct contract with Neuvana AI · No agencies Stack you'll work with: Linux · VLANs / VPN / firewalls · PoE managed switches · Docker (run / restart / logs) · MQTT We run smart-camera systems in retail and grocery sites across Iberia. You're the person on the ground in Portugal who installs them, gets the network right, and keeps them online. Not remote. Not a developer role. Pilots are going live now and we need someone in-country who owns deployment end-to-end: cabling, switch config, edge box bring-up, container ops from runbooks, first-line incidents. You'll work directly with the founder and the core engineering group — no middle-manager layers.
Requisitos
- Based in Lisbon or Porto — on-site at customer locations, daily
- Fluent Portuguese (customer-facing) + working English (engineering)
- 2–4 years in IT support, sysadmin, or field engineering — including site visits
- Linux CLI fluency: bash, systemd, journalctl, package management, SSH/keys
- Strong networking (core skill): VLANs (802.1Q), VPN setup (WireGuard or OpenVPN), basic firewall rules, managed PoE switches, DHCP / NAT / static IP
- Basic Docker ops: start, stop, restart, read logs, run a compose file (not building images, not writing services)
- Strong customer communication — owns the relationship with the site's IT contact and store ops
- Self-employed contractor in Portugal (or willing to register before start) and valid driver's licence
- Nice-to-have: smart-camera / IP-camera deployment, MQTT clients, retail/industrial site work, Grafana, Podman / k3s
